Grievance handling mechanism for Credit Cards?

To enable a bank to answer your credit card grievances, you can follow these steps:
These steps have been followed by almost all the banks for the grievance redressal.


  1. Call at 24hrs. Activated toll free number of the bank whose credit card you own.
  2. At the toll free number, you will receive a complaint number alongwith a surety of your grievances to be resolved within 2-3 business days.
  3. You can mail at the E-mail id of concerned department of the bank mentioning the complaint number received from toll free.
  4. You can drop a written complaint letter to the concerned bank branch, if not responded by them; then you can escalate this matter to the Bank’s zonal office or Head office, mentioning all the above steps you have taken.
